TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will make the platform set once it is live.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
