What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade - What It Is

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But be part of your decision.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
