The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. But factor into how you think about it.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works comes down to your priorities.
